Dubai International Financial Centre

Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) is a global financial free zone hub established in 2004 and located in Dubai, UAE. The DIFC Authority, Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and the Dispute Resolution Authority are the 3 independent bodies that constitute the DIFC.

The DIFC Authority is the management body that oversees the development and administration of the DIFC. It handles the provision of the legal, physical and regulatory infrastructure of DIFC for its sustainability and that of the entities registered within it.

The Dubai Financial Services Authority is the independent regulator of financial services conducted in or from the DIFC. It is charged with policy making, regulation, monitoring, compliance and enforcement.

The Dispute Resolution Authority conducts the legal and juridical activities of the DIFC through its 4 departments; DIFC Courts, DIFC Arbitration Institute, DIFC Wills and Probate Registry and the Academy of Law.
